We can do these brake adjusters for £150 per set of four. I'd post a pic if only I knew how to on here!  Thanks John, it's easy when you know how! Nice car!!! Any takers for the adjusters ? Posted by Delagiste 21/03/2018 15:59:17

Incidentally , today we have just placed an order for four new brake cables, new inners and outers to specified lengths, new ferrules and new screwed ends. Only thing used from the old ones are the fixing  thingies with the grease nipple . £163 for the lot. Ready in 7-10 days. Posted by Delagiste 22/03/2018 16:47:26

I'm in the process of disassembling  my brakes.  Just had the drums cut as minimally as possible. Next taking off the shoes to arc the linings to the drums.  Will inspect my adjusters to determine condition and advise. Posted by johnlayzell 22/03/2018 23:04:40

Delagiste - David Barker  Funny how time just slides by when we get distracted!  How did you fare with getting your SP25 brakes to work properly? From whom did you order new cables?  My drums have been slightly skimmed and checked for roundness, and the new soft linings have been arced to the drums. Recently, I've gone round and round again trying to achieve acceptable braking, without success! The definition of madness is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result, so I’m looking for any different take on the subject. Posted by johnlayzell 20/04/2019 22:21:36

First 'Updated Forum' Post.

SP25 brakes update! Am still struggling without success.  I think 12 years is long enough.  Jay Leno converts some of his old machinery to disc brakes. maybe that's what i need to do.

All forms of positive encouragement readily accepted!
