1951 TA21 Tickford DHC Ref: 2231 Date: 1/1/2025 A splendid example of a rare, elegant Alvis TA 21 Tickford drop head coupe. First registered December 1951. Reg CKS 256. Chassis and engine No. 24375. Meticulously professionally maintained with a comprehensive history file including 38 MOT pass certificates. Current MOT to October 2025 with no advisories. Upgrades include wire wheels and front disc brakes (2005/6), engine rebuilt at 73,891 miles (2009/10), new mohair hood (2014), electronic ignition (2020), steering idler box rebuilt (2021), new front shock absorbers and bushes (2021). Bodywork and leather upholstery in very good condition. The car is driven frequently on local runs and to regional car shows and is a very reliable runner. Current mileage 86,396. 1951 Alvis TA21 drop-head coupe. Ref: 2234 Date: 1/2/2025 Tickford bodied, in Ivory with Beige hood. This attractive TA21 DHC has been with its present owners since 1998, having been restored in around 1989-90 by renowned AOC members Brian Bowler and family, from near Crewe. First registered on 8th October 1951 Chassis number 24332, Engine number 24919 starts on the button and drives well. A regular attender at the Classic car shows at Amberley museum and many other Sussex shows. Maintained and nurtured by the present owners and garaged inside, but a new owner is now needed to take over for the next twenty years.... Minor cosmetic body blemishes hence a realistic price of £24,950 will secure this lovely car.
