My son is currently restoring our TD21 Series 1 DHC. The rear of the front wings are protected from road debris by an aluminum 'baffle' plate. The front of the wings have no such protection, thereby allowing the headlight bowls, underside of the wings, etc. to be showered with road dirt, thereby increasing the likelihood of corrosion.
