Smiths clock in TD Series II

Does anyone know how to replace the clock in a TD21 SII (rectangular Smiths type)? Can it be done from the front, or does the dash need to be removed? Posted by Philip 19/06/2012 16:22:33

Disconnect the battery,remove the nobs from the switches,remove the 6 screws and the wooden fascia panel will come out with clock and cigar lighter attached. If you forgot about the battery you will probabley get a huge flash as the unfused lighter earths and maybe a small fire if everthing is dry and dusty. Posted by Peter Martin 20/06/2012 19:26:33
