Sill drain holes

Another question for the group as my restoration slowly creeps forwards: I have replaced the sills on my TC21 saloon and have no idea as to the location of any drain holes in the original sills. Mine were completely rotted so I am not certain what to do. I am about to paint the car so would like to drill any holes before I start spraying. Posted by drdowhitt 29/08/2015 23:50:28

Jon, I have a TA21 with Mulliner body. Being an Australian car there is no rust at all and all parts/panels are original. I have no drain holes at all along the underneath sill panel. The panel is metal and is screwed on the inner side to the wooden frame section. (As an aside what I do have on one side is a large dent underneath where someone in the past placed a jack. This did not affect the structure in any way as it is hollow.)  Richard Melbourne Posted by RichardWallach 02/09/2015 08:41:29
