Lucas regulator upgrade

I would be interested to hear from members who can advise whether it is possible to upgrade the old RF95/2, two bobbin regulator, to the three bobbin type, such as as RB310 or 6GC. Posted by RichardWallach 16/03/2013 21:47:10

I used an electronic voltage regulator which I installed inside the original regulator housing with no external differences. It works perfectly without the problems associated with the old mechanical type.
