hubcaps

I always seem to have trouble removing the chrome hubcaps from the standard steel wheels on my TC21/100, a large screwdriver is a clumsy and rather brutal implement that invariably chips or scratches the paint on the wheel. Is there a special tool / lever that I should be using and if so where can I get one or possibly make one?  Andrew Posted by tf1695 10/03/2013 19:33:18

Hi Andrew, yes there is a special tool that was originaly supplied in the toolkit. You can easily make one - wide blade screwdriver with blade of twixt 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide. Bend the end nearest the blade just OVER 90 degrees which gives you a hook at the blade end of approx 1 inch long. The length for you to hold only needs to be about 4inches long for you to grip.
