reverse gear catch

I have been given to understand that the reverse gear catch on the gearlever of my firefly can be modified to be spring loaded ,can anybody explain how to go about doing this mod?. Posted by tonval 05/09/2012 06:13:28

Hi, I haven't done it but I know a man who has and he sent me details of how to do it. Seems quite straightforward but a bit of engineering skill required I think.
