1937 Speed 25 front axle etc

Gentlemen,  I'm a new member with a speed 25 and I have some issues with it.....  Can anyone tell me where I can get a drawing for the front axle/suspension/hubs etc?  Also the recommened castor, camber and toe measurements Any help will be gratefully recieved  Simon Posted by simhin 11/08/2016 16:36:12

I can help with the [b:xu9zphel]toe-out [/b:xu9zphel]- this should be 1/8 to 1/4 inch "measured at the hub level". This information is on pages 61 and 62 of the Speed 25 instruction book (aka the owners manual). Would have thought castor and camber preset by factory and not adjustable. Thanks for the info, That link for the reprints didnt work however. Do you have another address?  We seem to have a tiny difference in the angle of the right and left king pins. Its very small, but they do seem to be inclined at different angles..  Any idea what would cause this and how we may rectify it?  Thanks Posted by simhin 22/09/2016 11:51:53

I can't locate the website either &amp; Google draws a blank.  My copy is 2005 and listed address for Wallege Reprints is 48 Albert Rd, Ashford , Kent TN24 8NU. My copy of &quot;Repair Notes for Alvis Cars in the 1930s&quot; ISBN 9781 84147 0313.  There was also a title on repairing the Clayton Dewandre Brake Servo that Speed 25s, have an ISBN 1 84147 0511.  Suggest a look in the telephone book to see if the business is still listed.  Also an advertisement in the &quot;pinkun&quot; might find a member with copies of the booklets who will pass them on. A Victorian club member restoring a Speed 25 had to bend what I call the knuckle joint on his car to restore to factory specs as the car had obviously had a significant hit during its life.
