Hello, I have a Speed 20 SA, the solenoid has finally died on my headlamp and i heard one could replace the old bulb with a quartz halogen. The problem is that the original switch and the two wires to the headlight. At present when the switch is on dip two wires are live one for the bulb one for the solenoid, when on main beam one wire is live. How does one make it all work with the two filament QH bulb ? Does one make it so dip on the switch would actually be main beam & dip filaments are on ? and therefore when the switch indicates main beam one filament is on which would be the dip ?
