Hi, I am just about to have my Speed 25 SC radiator core replaced ( to cure a leak and frequent boiling over) and want to make sure that I get the best compromise between core type originality and efficiency from more modern designs. Is anyone able to help with the original specification for the type and thickness of radiator core? Eg: cellular film, packed construction, X type packed construction, gill on tube/ tube and fin (unlikely), also around the hole for the starting handle, were dummy tubes or a wet box incorporated. Did the design allow for the "slanted" air flow direction resulting from the V shaped radiator? I have read somewhere that the core design evolved from the SP20 to the SP25 and further changes were made for the SC chassis variant - but now I need it, I can't seem to find this information!!
