Dear all, reference the rebuild of my Speed 20 SC VDP 1934 I am worried about water ingress to rear footwell area, chassis has a steel base fitted but it looks like water can easily enter through the larges pressed holes on the cross member and around the prop shaft to the rear seating floor well area, also under the rear seat isnt covered fully, just a tin guard for the prop and diff ? an pointers please. Regards Fraser PS email zarf0001@btinternet.com with any large data like pics/vids. Posted by fraser reid 22/10/2012 07:25:08

Hi Fraser I have plastic cups fitted in to these 'holes' which prevents any water entering to the rear footwells. The rear 'tunnel is aluminium flanged at the rear and floor. I will E mail you pics of my set up - you might already have these pics. re. previous conversations re.overdrives ? Hugh Westlake Posted by alvisspeed20 03/12/2012 21:11:05
