sunshine roof

HI,     The sunshine roof on my speed 20sd is in very poor condition and I need to replace it, the head lining is in a similar state. Any ideas what to replace it with or anyone who can do this? Is this a professional job only or can amateur doit? Posted by alvisspeedsd 05/06/2012 18:05:38

Reg - I presume you have the type with a fabric covering secured by two plated turn-screws? The sliding panel lifs out and it is a fairly simple job to re-cover it but you may find the wood frame in bad condition and this will have to be addressed. This may require professional skills. Same with the headlining, it looks simple but to get it nicely curved around the rear quarters is quite tricky. Posted by Nickalvis 28/06/2012 18:10:56
