Hello, new to Alvis ownership, has anybody put a Flexolite adaptor to a TD21 ?

I fitted the Flexolite adaptor together with an oil cooler to my TE in 2005, oil filter changes have become a pleasure,almost.There was a problem with the adaptor plate not fitting properly to the original Tecalemit casting due to a machining error by Flexolite this caused a major spillage on start up but could have wrecked the engine had I not looked under the car as soon as she fired. A friend with a TF had a similar problem. Flexolite claimed there were variances in dimensions with some Tecalemit castings.If you go ahead let them know it is for an Alvis and let them know you know of the problem and they can modify the plate
