Hi members, interested to know what oils you are using.

Gearbox:  Handbook basically says engine oil (I am using Classic 20/50 with zinc). Can I use this or am I better with a straight 30 mineral oil?  Castrol do an XL30 monograde.

Steering box:   Straight EP90 I think (not hypoy).  Castrol do a classic EP90.

Shock absorbers:  Armstrong special shock absorber oil----I have found Dynolite or Castrolite.

Any advice appreciated.  Thanks Roy.

All sorted now.  Apologies for the spelling mistake on the original post but I couldn't seem to edit it once done.
.   This is what I am using.
Engine:  Classic Oil 20/50 with zinc.  On older engines it is important to use an oil that
includes zinc (this one has 1300ppm) to help avoid wear on heavily loaded surfaces.

Gearbox: Straight SAE30 mineral oil.  Access flap under the carpet at the transmission
tunnel.        Fill to within one inch of the top.

Axle: Duckhams Hypoy 90: Access flap under rear seat, filler plug has a dipstick for level.

Steering Box: Castrol Classic EP90:  Fill to just below the level of the plug.

Shock Absorbers: Dynolite (recommended for lever arm shocks). Fill to within 3/8th inch of
                             top.     Do not overfill.
                             Front---wheels off I'm afraid.
                             Rear---access flaps under rear seat.
That's it for now,  Roy.
