Trafficator wswitch on my TE21 does not self cancel. I do not want to remove the fascia to release the housing and it seems that if i undo the steering wheel adjuster I can slide out the wheel to release it . Trouble is I can't undo the adjuster nut with 10" stilsons or a strap wrench and I am worried that larger stilsons will damage or break the nut which looks like bakelite . Any ideas out there?
