TE21 idling speed

My TE21 idles at a textbook 750rpm when cool but when fully warmed up, the idling speed is 1000rpm. Can anyone explain, please, why this might be? Posted by vaningen 06/11/2012 23:16:19

Mine has always done the same. The speed then reduces if you are stuck in traffic after a long hot run. I have resolved this problem by re-routing the fuel pipe around the rear of the engine and up under the carbs.
