Does anyone know the date when this little publication was released?  Richard Melbourne Posted by RichardWallach 04/05/2016 10:13:26

Richard,  I have a copy which I bought new at a motor museum when I was 10 or 11 which dates it to 1974/5, it still has the price sticker on - £1.25. There is a copy advertised on ebay as being published in 1963.  Andrew Posted by tf1695 11/07/2016 15:21:33

Although I had a 1960 TD21 dhc (421MPO, where are you now?) from the late 1960's I knew nothing about the prewar cars. It was seeing and buying Alvis In the Thirties early in 1972 in a motoring bookshop in Chiswick  - Chater and Scott? that attracted me to them and responding to a Motor Sport Classified advert for a wrecked Speed 25 dhc and buying it for £250. I restored it over 3 years and kept it until 1999, covering 60,000 miles or so. Posted by Idris_Francis 24/02/2017 17:32:30

Idris,  Any regrets in selling it? Would you buy another pre war car?  Richard Melbourne Posted by RichardWallach 24/02/2017 22:07:42
