Alvis in ITV series "Breathless"

Watch "Breathless" on ITV on Thursdays, 9:00 p.m., mid Oct-end Nov. Quote from ITV press release by Jack Davenport, star of the series: "In 'Breathless' I drive an Alvis. It's a pretty cool car and very well chosen. 99 per cent of the time the one we have is an absolute delight to drive because, unusually for a period car, it’s also automatic. I’ve driven a lot of old cars and the problem with them is they have old gearboxes which are crunchy. But the Alvis was an absolute dream. It’s even got power steering.
