Speed 20 fan Belt

My Speed 20 SC has a Ferodo V180 fan belt which seems to be in good order but it would be sensible to have a spare anybody know where to get a replacement? Posted by sapperone 22/08/2012 07:00:50

Hi Stephen,  take the old belt to a industrial belts specialist and ask them to measure it (inside length plus width are the two key measurements) and they should be able to supply a new replacement. There is a company in Kent who offer this service on the internet, but I found a local bearings and belts specialist who were very helpful with supply of belts for my Alvis Sp25 and my Jensen 541s and also with bearing races and oil seals.  best of luck  Dave Posted by DaveT 25/08/2012 10:11:49

I took the existing belt off the Speed 25 in 2003 and took it to a regular auto parts store in Miami where they were able to measure it and provide me with the correct replacement.  On the wrapper is stated:  21/32" x 47"  16mm x 1190 mm.  Of course SP 20 may be different.  Good luck!
