Courtesy light switches

How is the body of the courtesy light switch (the Chris Prince ones) grounded in the A Post? Do you need a separate wire from the body of the switch to earth or are you supposed to drill and tap the metal behind the wood of the A Post and screw the courtesy light switch to that?. Thanks guys. Turns out it picks up its ground via the cast header block to the lower A post (which is connected to the inner and outer wings) and the aluminium A post cladding. Crude but effective Posted by haysx0 03/05/2017 18:41:09
