Silverstone Classic – A belated Centenary Event 31st July 2021
Co-ordinated by David Lowe (many thanks), various Alvises representing both the pre and post war range (Silver Eagle, Firefly, Sp25 tourer and a saloon, 12/70, 4.3, TA14, and two TD21 IIs) by invitation of the Organisers perambulated the track in a sedate convoy as a belated celebration of the Centenary of the marque.
The weather was a bit ‘iffy’, but it was good to catch up with some old friends and make the acquaintance of some new owners. For a premier classic car event, held about as centrally in the country as is possible, it is a shame that not many members joined in this belated celebration of our centenary.
