Northern Section Season Opening Sunday Lunch

Northern Section enjoy their Season Opening Sunday Lunch – 6th February 2022

The Sunday before last, the Northern Section held their traditional early February season opening Sunday lunch. We enjoyed a fabulous meal at the Spread Eagle in Sawley Bridge. The food was excellent, the wine flowed and the company as always was great fun.

We were particularly pleased to be able to welcome a new AOC member from the East Anglia region; Brian Rushton, who had driven up from Cambridge to join us before visiting family in Cheshire. What a truly excellent effort and lovely to meet him.

A huge thanks to Susan Whitaker for organising this most enjoyable Sunday lunch event.
It was great to be back starting the Alvis season with this event, where everyone can compare notes on their winter projects and look forward to more days of Alvis outings in months to come.
